August. 2011.	Thank you for visiting our booth at COPPER CHINA 2011. We participated in Copper China 2011 Exhibition held at Shanghai, China from July 13th to 15th. We strongly felt high demand on Non-Ferrous Rolling Mills in China and the expectation for IHI Metaltech in its field. Furthermore, we are striving to expand our non-ferrous business.

September. 2010.	IHI Metaltech will exhibit at "The 4th China International Exhibition for Copper Industry". We will participate as an exhibitor at "The 4th China International Exhibition for Copper Industry" held at Shanghai, China from October 10th to 12th, 2010. We will introduce our technologies of "Cold Rolling Mill for Copper Foil (X-MILL)" as expanding demands in the market recently. Your visit to our booth will be appreciated.
June. 2010.	The 2nd Castrip® (The first commercialized Strip Caster in the world) Plant starts operation in the US. IHI has successfully completed the installation of the second Castrip® plant which was contracted with Nucor in 2006, in Blytheville, Arkansas. The plant started operation in Oct. 2009. Its annual production capacity is 500,000 to 600,000 tons. Castrip® is the first commercialized "strip casting" plant for production of low carbon steel strips in the world, which was jointly developed by IHI, Nucor and Blue Scope Steel. Low carbon steel strips thinner than 2mm can be directly produced from molten steel through water cooled twin rolls. Castrip® technology can utilize high residual scraps and has features of low cost, less space, energy saving and low greenhouse gas emission. April. 2010.	IHI Metaltech started up new Hot Strip Mill successfully at Tokyo Steel Tahara Plant : The Japan’s first integrated strip producing plant started from Electric Arc Furnace. The entire line of new hot strip mill which IHI Metaltech Co., Ltd. designed, manufactured, constructed and commissioned for Tokyo Steel Corporation Tahara Works (located in Tahara City, Aichi pref., Mr. Takuo Ogawa, Director) was successfully handed over to Tokyo Steel Corporation recently. This Hot Strip Mill line, ordered to IHI Metaltech in 2006, as one of the major facilities in Tahara Works newly constructed near Nagoya City, to produce flat rolled products from steel scrap, has been in the commissioning stage since last autumn. The annual throughput of this integrated plant will become 2,500,000 tons, which is the largest number among all the plants of Tokyo Steel.
